Bring Your Dream Kitchen to Life
Every kitchen and bath remodel is an exciting project because of the unique aspects it brings. We ensure that your project is all about you and focus on your needs, your wants, and your space. We encourage our clients to research and browse for design inspiration and think about the intentions of the space prior to the start of the project. Doing so allows us to move forward with a clear understanding of your vision, as well as allowing our team to prepare a cohesive design strategy which ultimately guides the rest of the design process.
Once you have finalized your decision to begin a kitchen or bath remodel it’s time to begin the design process. Don’t be discouraged about the steps in the process, hiring our team of designers at Enchanted Kitchens ensures that the design process will move along smoothly and efficiently.
The Enchanted Kitchens Design Process
We have carefully and strategically structured our design process to alleviate any serious questions or confusion throughout the design process, making the process enjoyable for you and successful for us! As our client, your job is to dream up your idea of the perfect design while we bring your vision to life. We’ll work closely with you from start to finish to perfectly align your goals to stay within your budget.
When you contact Enchanted Kitchens to schedule your initial meeting, we suggest you begin preparing by gathering inspiration ideas — the more ideas and images, the better. We’ve seen inspiration of all kinds from social media posts, magazine clippings, personal photos, designs sites and more! The truth is, inspiration can be found anywhere, in anything. You’re always welcome to visit our Experience Center and see examples in-person.
We ask that you complete the design questionnaire in advance that will help our designers understand your vision and bring it to life.
Not sure what you should be looking at for inspiration? Consider these main kitchen elements first:
- Cabinetry design and color
- Countertop material (i.e. stone countertops including quartz, granite, marble, or affordable options like concrete, engineered stone, tile, stainless steel, etc.)
- Cabinet fixtures
- Sink styles
- Bath and/or kitchen lighting design
Now that you’ve had time to gather your kitchen design ideas and find inspiration, you’ll schedule your first meeting with one of our professional designers. During this phase, we’ll focus on dividing your needs from your wants which will help us stay on track moving forward. Keep an open mind, because our designers will provide ideas to you that you may not have thought of before — that’s the best part about working with us for your bathroom or kitchen redesign project. The designers at Enchanted Kitchens have the experience and knowledge to open your eyes and introduce new ideas that could be more practical for the intentions of the space.
In order to properly execute your remodeling project and choose materials, we will work with you to determine an appropriate design budget based on your design wants and needs. Setting a budget may not be the most enjoyable part of the process but it is necessary.
The first step is to decide how much you want (and can) spend — and stick to it. An average upscale luxury kitchen remodel can be anywhere around $80,000, but that doesn’t mean that’s how much it will cost for your specific project. We suggest you take a closer look at your finances to determine the highest price point you’re able to spend, as well as a minimum price point that will include your needs. Our designers will prepare a budget breakdown of what your project could cost to help you grasp how much you’ll end up spending.
An additional factor to consider while you determine your budget is how long you plan to stay in your house. If you plan to sell your home and move within the next five years, this renovation should be looked at as a real estate improvement to increase the value of your home. Basically, you won’t need to get carried away with the custom features that a could potentially discourage buyers.
After you’ve factored in the details for your budget, we’ll be able to move forward once a design agreement is signed — then the fun can really begin!
The fourth phase of the design process is the introduction to what you’ve waiting for all along! We create a room layout based on the dimensions of the space we’ll be working in, a plan for room space, choose appliances (if applicable), and finalize the overall design/function. It’s important that you are open and clear about your vision during this phase, because the remaining aspects of the project are highly dependent on the conceptual design.
The product selection phase is where your Pinterest surfing will pay off. With the help of our design team, you’ll select cabinet doors, drawer styles, fixtures, colors and finishes. When you visit our award-winning Experience Center, you’ll have the opportunity to see different styles, colors, and finishes in person to help you finalize your decision. When you have the chance to put items side-by-side, you might be surprised with your final product choices simply because you had the chance to see everything in person.
Now that you’ve made your product selection and established a design layout, it’s time to make your dream space a reality! We’ll review everything with you on paper to confirm that we have the details accurate to ensure the appropriate items are ordered and within budget. During this phase is when we will compose the contract and collect the deposit. Once this is complete, we’ll schedule the deliveries and the renovation will begin!
Let the work begin! Our clients have the option to use our installation crew or hire their preferred team. From this point, you’ll be living through a renovation which can be stressful if you are not prepared. Be sure to check out our tips to surviving your renovation project!
The final phase in the design process is to embrace your newly renovated space! Despite all of your contribution and hands-on design planning, product selection, and living through the renovation, revealing the final product is bittersweet yet it is the best part of the design process.
Your newly renovated kitchen or bathroom will be a project you’ll want to show off at every opportunity you have. At the end of the day, it’s our clients’ visions that inspire us to create beautiful designs for homeowners throughout Denver.

From home decor bloggers, Houzz and Pinterest posts, to interior design magazines — it’s all too easy to fall into a trance of kitchen and bathroom remodeling ideas. To help you stay on top of the trends and stay focused, we’ve gathered a few of our favorite kitchen and bath trends of 2018 that you might find inspirational.
If you need some hands-on inspiration, feel free to visit our Experience Center located in Englewood.
Here are few things to keep in mind before you start your design project, that could save you money!
Granite Is Out, Quartz Is In
Remember when all people could talk about was how badly they wanted beautiful granite countertops? Sure, they’re still beautiful as ever, but they are among the most expensive countertop material and far less durable than others. In fact, quartz countertops is the number one countertop on the market today. It’s incredibly durable, it has a vast selection of finish options, and it’s a more affordable option.
Brass Is Making A Comeback
Can you believe it? To much of our dismay, brass is making quite the impact in kitchen and bath renovations, and we’ll be honest, we are a bit surprised. While chrome, brushed nickel, and satin finishes still reign supreme, be ready to see more brass faucets in upcoming design magazines.
Mixed and Matched Cabinetry
A huge trend in 2018 are two-toned cabinets where the upper cabinets contrast the lowers. Or the center island cabinets have a pop of color, contrasting the surrounding cabinetry. The all white kitchen designs are slowly fading, providing more room for creativity and design elements.
Subway Tile Isn’t Everything
Subway tile does offer a clean, sleek, and timeless option for kitchen and bath designs, but we’d be lying if we said it’s just as fun as the newest designs. Texture, color, pattern, and lots of uniquely designed tiles are quickly becoming a hot trend! And designers are mixing up textures to keep the space interesting and unique.
Simple and Efficient
The majority of homeowners that are working adults enjoy coming home to destress from the day. More and more people are decluttering their home, and their design preferences. Neutral tones, clean lines, and a well thought out efficient use of space is prevailing in the kitchen design industry.
Simple bathroom designs are becoming more popular with white and grey tones taking the reins over color.
Open Kitchen Layouts
Open kitchen floor plans are here to stay! There is a desire for informal dining and casual cooking that connects the whole household. Plus, open layouts give the illusion of a larger space which appeals to people who have a smaller budget to put toward design.
For those who really dislike seeing their refrigerator stand out there is a trending option that is catching on quickly. Integrating appliances into your kitchen design as they’re installed with surrounding cabinetry. This is a clever way to hide them while still making a design statement.
Less is more, especially when it comes to an open, airy kitchen design. People are opting for fewer upper cabinets and will choose for more windows or shelving to display dishware or show a unique storage solution.
This is a trend that we sure hope sticks around for as long as possible, if not forever. Large sinks have a major emphasis on function, however, their stunning appearance is a huge plus. Since becoming more in demand, we’ve found ourselves questioning why it’s taken so long for large kitchen sinks to become a trend. The generous size contains splashes and can accommodate pots and pans and other dishes that require washing by hand.
